Cheap gaming PC on eBay - is it legit?

I'm looking to get a computer capable of running Starcraft 2, and I stumbled upon an eBay store. Specifically, I'm looking at this. 2.8 GHz processor, 1GB video card, and 2GB RAM are all better or equal to SC2's recommended requirements, so unless I'm missing something, this seems like a good deal, and much cheaper than the prices for parts I was looking at.

So, basically, is there any reason I should be skeptical and shouldn't buy this?

I'm guessing it's the "Win XP, activated and updated" bit. Sounds like a pirate copy of the OS...

I mean... it looks fine to me. The price seems right, there's nothing too fancy about that computer. The seller has good feedback. Everything seems to be in order. I don't know why you wouldn't, so I too am interested in the "why" not to buy. Also, that should run SC2 fine at medium to low settings.

I would personally go this route instead. And purchase the parts from reputable dealer like newegg. All of the links point to newegg so that is easy. In the end you pay a little more but it is worth it for the piece of mind and a better system.

Looks okay it is pretty low end components but I think you'll be okay with it. You could build better but for the convenience... His butchering of our language in the description would suggest to me that the aftersales isn't going to be the best.

Regarding the why...

It will barely play SC2. You're going to have to play it on low, maybe medium at best. The graphics card is the lowest of the low range, as is the CPU. It's bottom of the range products for the price of a mid-range PC if you were to build it yourself. The total amount of parts, guessing that he has used the cheapest crappiest motherboard he can get his hands on since it's not listed, same goes for the DVD burner, HDD, RAM, case and PSU. Comes to £210 or $325, However, you guys get stuff for pretty much the equivalent price in pounds anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if you were to look on NewEgg you'd be able to make the entire thing for around $250 anyway. $425 for $250 worth of parts does not sound like a good deal to me, even if you've got a legit copy of XP on there.

You should learn to build your own system. It's child's play. Seriously. If you can plug a console into a TV and set it up then you can build a computer. They're designed to be thrown together, it's impossible to plug stuff in the wrong way.

Couldn't agree with this more. There are newer graphics cards just as cheap as that 4350 that will perform better. The 1GB of ram on that video card won't be utilized, it is just not powerful enough to smoothly run at higher resolutions where that extra ram comes in handy.

When it comes to video game requirements, I would consider the "recommended requirement's" as the minimum requirement. Minimum means your PC can load the game up and play it... usually with really bad frame rates. Recommended means that you shouldn't have any problems but will probably have a bit of frame rate dips here and there if your try turning the settings up a bit.

I would advise building your own. If you can't, try to find something that has some more money put into the CPU + Graphics Card (very important for games). A more powerful graphics card will also enable you to play a lot of other PC games from this generation much more smoothly.
