I still have my 2600, but only a handful of games. I have Demon Attack, Jungle Hunt, Pac Man, Ms Pac Man, Yar's Revenge and "Football". I have no cords or controllers.. but I'm sure they're easy enough to find. What are some time worthy games for this thing anyway?

Jungle Hunts fun, and so is Ms. Pac Man. Every one else seems to love Yar's Revenge, but it's not one of my favorites.

My favorite game is probably Berzerk. A lot of people bash it because the robots don't shoot diagonally, but I think that adds strategy. I like to sit there for hours on end on the easy setting "sniping" away at the robots from the diagonals that I can shoot, but they can't shoot back.

I love Kool Aid Man, too. You would think that it'd be a bad game, and most reviewers seem to think that in their reviews, but I love the game.

Spider Man is pretty good, and it's also really challenging.

AtariMania has a top 100 list here. One nice thing about Atari 2600 is that most of the good games are quite common.

Oh yea, don't forget about the homebrew scene. Some of the most technically impressive games have come out in the last few years.

Also, you might want to get a Harmony Cart for about 60 dollars and be able to play all the 2600 ROMs you have one one cartridge. Or you could just buy it for games that are too expensive or never came out on a cartridge.

I love my 2600..if you dont have one you should get one..I use it all the time. I have a harmony cart for those extremely pricey games and a dozen or so of my favs just for fun! Great times with friends and it works out great in the living room as a conversational piece...
