Is it possible to change the region of a PSOne Game?

Long story short: Got Blaze and Blade (PAL), burned it, popped it into my Modded PSOne, and the video was flickering like crazy. As such, I cannot play it, and it's probably because it's PAL. Is there any way to change the region of the game?

Hmm, patching would not chance the FMV's as they are pre-recorded, they would run out of sync and be jumpy if you ran a 50hz video at 60hz.

The game itself (ingame) should run fine.
