Is there a GBC frontlight or backlight mod?

I've heard of GB frontlit/backlit mods. But never GBC. Is there such a thing? Easy to do? Etc?

I've never seen or heard of one but supposedly there was one for the Neo Geo pocket. It is possible you may be able to use that Neo Geo Pocket light kit on the GBC I suppose.

The GBC Frontlight is really great (though make sure you don't use the clear GBC case, because the GBA frontlight sticks out the bottom a bit). For a regular Game Boy you can just get a Game Boy Light from Japan.

The GBC Frontlight is very easy to do. Opening a GBC is trivial, and once you have the frontlight out it literally is just soldering two wires from the frontlight to two spots on the GBC board (and one is the switch, so you have a nice big area). The hardest part is getting the frontlight out of the GBA, and that just requires a bit of caution.

Here's the reason why (I didn't know until I searched).

Nintendo of Japan has pointed out that neither the forthcoming Game Boy Advance SP nor the Game Boy Player peripheral will work with games that use the built-in tilt sensor. This means that writers' favourite Koro Koro Kirby (Kirby's Tilt 'n' Tumble to you and I) will be off limits.

Why? Well, the GBA SP's cartridge slot is the wrong way up (you insert the games into the front of the bottom half of the unit, facing down), which is bound to confuse the sensor inside the cartridge. And as for the Game Boy Player... well, tilting requires movement, doesn't it?
