I would, but as stated by other members they don't because 2.5D doesn't exsist. But I am glad for the term because in one word I know what you mean when you are describing a game and its looks. By the way post some screen shoots for Bonk too.noiseredux wrote:are the Hudson remakes on GCN considered 2.5D? Cuz if so, they are awesome:

I hated Cubic Lode Runner. The Lode Runner series is love/hate for me. I mean, talk about an odd turn for the Bomberman franchise:
I know it came first, I still think its funny.

Those are three of the four (to my knowledge) Hudson collection titles on the Cube/PS2. Where Hudson took classic titles and remade them for the modern consoles. Bonk/Genjin, Star Soldier, Lode Runner, and Adventure Island

Re: How do you feel about 2.5D platformers?
So it seams I'm the only one who feels like that about 2.5D platform games.
Then again after seeing that sonic footage I posted earlier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxXycBv3 ... r_embedded for those who didn't see it the first time) I have realized, the reason I don't like franchises that move to 2.5D is that I haven't played any of them that have the same physics as their 2D counterparts. For example in the all 2D Mario games, Mario's controls are never slippery and he can come to a complete stop in an instant, but in NSMB it takes about a second, and I just never quite liked that.
But if they make games like in that fan made video, with the same controls I'd probably love them.

I only have Adventure Island so far. I want Bonk's Adventure, but I NEED Star Soldier. Cubic Lode Runner I'm indifferent on.sevin0seven wrote:i own this one and it is awesome indeed!noiseredux wrote:Bonk's Adventure:
