That's what I normally say.

Like I just wrote in my PS1 name thread: No matter what you want to call it, the games don't change. That's what is ultimately important.

Indigo is right. That's what it said on my GameCube's box. (Heh, A box for a box.)

The only Gamecube color I've ever owned is Silver, oddly enough.

That Nintendo memo is almost as funny as Photoshop's trademark guidelines: http://www.adobe.com/misc/trade.html#section-4

I love this kind of stuff! So there you have it. Officially it's GameCube, not Gamecube.

Another one that people often overlook (even in the Racketboy "topics") is that Nintendo officially called the handheld line the Game Boy. It's not Gameboy. It's two words. If you read ANY press release by Ninty concerning GB, GBC, GBA there is always a space between Game and Boy. And if you look at the logo:

the letters in GAME are connected, then a space, then the letters in BOY are connected. It's like that on every logo for every model of GB, GBC, GBA.

Just saying...

Also, have you ever noticed that the "S" in "Playstation" is capitalized? So, it's actually called the PlayStation.
