So I recently downloaded Zangband and started playing it again. I die often, but it's still good fun. I like to put on 80s rock music, block out the sunlight, stare lovingly at old Tolkien and D&D art, and play dungeon crawls. It's like a magical time machine.
"Rock and Roll! I use the sword! ... I swing it around to see if it's maaagical!"
I remember playing Moria as a kid on the macs at school and then Angband when I was in high school. Anyone else play roguelikes? What are your favorite dungeon crawl games?
Here's a project that I've been watching. I hope it develops into something interesting. It's been over a decade since the original Mordor back in windows 3.1.

Incidentally, I noticed that work has resumed on the Zelda: Parallel Worlds rom hack.
