Yeah, I never read the manga either. I don't read manga in general despite my interest in American comic books. I think it's because so many of them are made in anime and I just prefer watching an anime to reading a manga. It brings out the visual beauty of the artist better than a manga can and in my experience, a lot of anime stay very true to manga storylines anyway like Rurouni Kenshin(well it was faithful up to the Kyoto arc)and Inuyasha. I love animation and Japan does it so well that I find anime more to my liking than the mangas many of them are based onAppleQueso wrote:I've never read the Gunsmith Cats manga but I've watched the OVA countless times

I've never actually watched the anime, but I love the manga. It's quite possibly my favorite manga out there.
The problem with the Gunsmith Cats anime I heard is that it's extremely short compared to the manga, and it's also pretty damn expensive last I checked. Granted, last I checked was when ADV died and everything they published went up in value sharply.

Yeah, man. Happened last year I believe, because I remember it happened just before I went to AWA. There were a lot of former employees at AWA selling a ton of ADV merch for REALLY F'ING CHEAP, but I was too stupid to realize it would all go up in value. All I ended up picking up was The Slayers OVA Collection for $10.AppleQueso wrote: wait ADV died?
A good friend of mine got much luckier, picking up Kino's Journey... which, when I checked prices online afterward, starting going for $100+.

You know, if all you're interested in is a license, why not try your hand at making a Beats of Rage mod?

You do quite a bit of punching in the first NES GI Joe game if I remember correctly. I guess it is a run n gun though...it has been a long time since I played it.

Because that would require a lot of sprite editing and such. And motivation. Motivation is the thing I'm lacking most right now.MidnightRider wrote:You know, if all you're interested in is a license, why not try your hand at making a Beats of Rage mod?
I've gotta WIP Darkstalkers OpenBOR mod, and it's just kinda been sitting there, collecting virtual dust. I've got a pretty huge problem with motivation, unfortunately.
