The Most Collected Game Console on Racketboy
Re: The Definitive Game Console on Racketboy
Having more games for a system doesn't make it the best you have; also, there are many other console systems not listed...

Not really trying to define 'best'. Just 'most'. Also, I left many systems out simply because I was fairly certain only one or two people would have more of that console than any other.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

True, but I'd also argue that the PS2 had a considerable number of solid titles in genres I enjoy, so I'm glad I have a large collection of titles. It's generally representative of my tastes and even though I've explored some of my favorite genres on the system, it still has much more to offer. And I've not even considered imports.

I picked Game Boy but my largest collection is for my OG Xbox

Flake, maybe you should re-title this thread. I don't think anyone is reading your first post where you specify what you're looking for.
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii

Probably a good idea. The poll is mostly f'd at this point but I still think we got a fair idea of which console has been collected for the most comprehensively. It's not like it was scientific anyway, right?
I'm actually a little surprised by the results. PS2 and NES. I originally predicted Genesis and PS1. I think it makes sense, though. The one thing that the PS2 and NES have in common is that everyone has had one (practically) and both have libraries that are enormous and very cheap to collect.

Sega Saturn. Expensive collection ftw.

Really surprised NES is in second so close to PS2. Classic Retro still popular! I thought N64 would do a lot better.
Maybe a secondary category in percentage of completeness might change the vote around?

Could you elaborate? I'm not certain I understand your suggestion.
