that's how I played in the SNES days.

The GB controls are a bit wonky, so fouling on an inbound (and even rebounding) can be trickier than need be.

Sadly, I wasn't able to sort out my EZF4 difficulties with the SNES emulator. And I'm still trying to find discs with a high compatibility rate for GCN.

I know you love it, but NBA JAM begs to be played on the sega cd.

I had the Sega CD version as well. I prefer the SNES.

I've owned NBA Jam for: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, GB, GBC, GBA, Game Gear.

I own NBA Jam TE and original for SNES, and have played SNES ports of the game pretty much exclusively over the years. I beat all 27 teams in TE yesterday, unlocking the extended rosters and the all star teams. Perhaps I'm just not that good at NBA Jam TE, but I find playing against the all star teams with quick hands and full power to be next to impossible.

Growing up I always picked Chicago, but recently have settled between the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz. Utah is probably the best 3 point shooting team in the game with Hornacek and Stockton running around, and Houston is good at everything except 3 pointers. Against most teams, Hakeem and Robert Horry can block damn near anything.

My SNES copy of the original was one of the first batches that still had Barkley in it before he got removed because of complications over Barkley's Shut Up and Jam. Barkley actually was golfing in my neighborhood when I was kid and I had him sign my copy of NBA Jam; I'd like to believe it's one of the most valuable copies of the game in existance as a result.

A funny thing I noticed while playing TE-Jason Kidd's sprite and character picture on the rookies and Mavs is black.

I know it's late in the month, but I JUST got my Snes9xGX disc working on my GCN. So I'm hitting some SNES NBA Jam for kicks now.

I keep it at mother's for safe keeping since it has a lot of sentimental value and i misplace everything. I'm heading there today, so I should be able to post up a pic within a couple hours.
