Well there goes my desire to pick them up...Whats the fun in a beatemup if it is single player? Coop man, coop. Its like the GBA port of River City Ransom. Sure its pretty, but it is singleplayer.

those of us with no gamer friends "IRL" don't even notice if co-op is a feature or not. I literally had to look it up when you asked, cuz I had no idea.fastbilly1 wrote:Well there goes my desire to pick them up...Whats the fun in a beatemup if it is single player? Coop man, coop. Well you know me, I prefer gaming with others over alone for most games. Its the boardgamer in me.

oh I hear you. I'm just saying, I often forget to even mention co-op in my reviews becuz I really don't have anyone to play games with so it's an extremely minor concern to me.fastbilly1 wrote:Well you know me, I prefer gaming with others over alone for most games. Its the boardgamer in me.
My wife plays SOME games, but she's selective and it's once a week tops.

Same for me pretty much. Though I did get my wife hooked on Dragon Quest IX haha. My evil plan is coming together....noiseredux wrote:oh I hear you. Funny you say that. I have a coworker who is nuts over playing video games together in the same room with all participants. Like a LAN party, but it could apply to WoW or an Xbox Live match, too. He's said it is probably because he's done so much board gaming and table top RPG'ing in the past and the social element is a critical part of the fun.fastbilly1 wrote:Well you know me, I prefer gaming with others over alone for most games. Bangon k.vlaros. One day I organized eight guys to play Planetside in the same room, that was just unfair to the other teams. It was worse when were playing Natural Selection and our Comm was yelling at us from the back of the room. We got banned from the server for cheating...

But yeah, as discussed in the thread in the other section. In person is better.
