wow I remember thsoe n64 VHS tapes. I remember there being this guy telling you a "tip" in ocarina of time to get a silver rupee worth "five hundred rupees" and being mildly annoyed when it was only worth 200.sevin0seven wrote:Went to my local Thrift Store today and I found:

Its the PS2 version. I have the Gamecube version too so I might end up buying this one just for shits.SwooshBear wrote:Which soul caliber 2? i prefer the GC one, and awesome avatar XDPara wrote:At Toys R Us yesterday I found a couple boxed and complete (obviously) copies of Soul Calibur 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament for five bucks.
I already have both those games but I felt like I should of still bought them for some reason. Five dollars is very reasonable and those games are great.
I put a lot of thought into what gaming related avatar I wanted and I settled on this since it's one of my favorite games and it used to creep me out a bit when I was younger. :p

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to Goodwill and found these old handheld games. The memory one had corroded batteries in it so I'm trying to work with that one still, but the other two work just fine! Pacman2 is from 1981 and one player can play Pacman while the other plays the ghost. Pretty nifty.
The football one seems to work good too, but as I know nothing of football (other than touchdowns = good lol), I don't know fully what's going on...plus it's all lights.
But yeah I am super pleased with the Pacman 2. They just need to be cleaned up a little. The handhelds cost $1.99 each. I also picked up a Football NES game, a sweet big Super Sonic plush (to sit atop my genesis games appropriately), and a Donkey Kong plush. Those aren't super special I know, but I'm happy! There was also a *drumroll* boxed Sega Genesis model 1, complete with controller, gun, and manual...I was DYING to pick that baby up but they were asking for 30 bucks for it, and right now I just can't realistically afford to drop that kind of money on a console I already have to begin with, and I have other bills to pay. But dang...I was drooling a lil bit...

Cool. I have one of those a friend gave to me. Amusingly it did start out at a bootleg but then I suppose as part of a settlement it became somewhat licensed by Namco. I'm guessing there was some sort of sticker stuck over the Entex copyright on the bottom label, but mine just has some stick residue and you can see the Entex information.I Feel Asleep!! wrote:Pacman 2.

I officially have wood. That thing came out when I was 6 years old and I remember bugging my parents for months and months and months for one. They ended up getting me a miniature arcade version of Pac-man complete with miniature joysticks. It worked for all of a month and started to short out. THIS thing though...oh the memories! I'm seriously impressed and for only 1.99!
