I could see it selling for $500. A nintendoage member was more than happy to purchase a NWC Jumpsuit for $560 (and apparently bid much higher just in case he had some competition).

There were also Genesis competitions through Blockbuster too. Carts for all the Blockbuster competitions are fairly sought after.

I remember that when I did the DKC one. The sega competition was more than one game though. I think it was 5 minutes to get high scores in NBA Jam, Judge Dredd and one other game I can't recall.

I remember playing this game in Blockbuster on a SNES display unit in store. I don't remember anything about the competition but I am pretty sure after the competion was over they had this game in the display for everyone else to try for a while. A guy I went to school with actually has/had the cartridge but I haven't had any luck tracking him down since he moved to another province years ago. :(

I remember playing the Starfox competition.. Mine was held at a Toys R Us as well and I remember everybody who participated got little Starfox pins. I still have mine, as well as the Star Fox t-shirt they gave to high scorers.. I don't remember how high I actually placed though.. All I know was it was enough for a t-shirt, but not for the cart or the bomber jacket.. :-(

There was a Donkey Kong Competition?
Yeah, hence the Donkey Kong Competition cartridge. It actually goes for more than the StarFox Competition cartridge, according to the Video Game Price Charts.

I had a addition to Star Fox when it came out so when I saw there was a competition for it, I knew I had to go. Mine was at our local Wal-Mart.

The day the competition started, I went to the store with the idea in my head that I was going to win the thing. I played it, thought I did pretty good, but the my high score was blown away by a long shot thanks to my freaking little brother! He destroyed me! In reality though, our scores were not high enough to get a flight jacket, but like all the people who played; we got our pins.

I'm actually looking to re-acquire one of those Star Fox pins, because I lost mine long ago. If anyone wants to part with theirs....let me know! :)
