I agree with Dsheinem, i hate the dreamcast controller. Its like a messed up xbox controller, dreamcast and original xbox have so many similarities i thought xbox was dreamcast 2 when i was a kid. and the n64 analog is the worst analog i've ever seendsheinem wrote:they BOTH suck.AppleQueso wrote:The fact that folks bash the n64 controller so much while they praise the dreamcast's is something I'll never understand... only thing I ever disliked about the n64 controller was its terrible control stick that broke all the time.
Is there a decent N64 arcade stick and/or third party controller?

You know, the xbox being the dreamcast 2 might not be too terribly far off... Microsoft did have a working relationship with Sega and I recall someone finding some piece of testing software for the xbox that featured a dreamcast-esque swirl as one of the render tests...SwooshBear wrote: I agree with Dsheinem, i hate the dreamcast controller. Anyhow, I actually like the xbox S controller more than the DC one. The original xbox controller however...

Ya the original xbox controller is the one with the big Xbox logo in the middle right? and a friend of mine pointed out how many dreamcast series were put on the xbox, like crazy taxi and whatnot, which doesnt surprise me.AppleQueso wrote:You know, the xbox being the dreamcast 2 might not be too terribly far off... I just found out about "Battletanx 3" on Sunday. 3do made World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks on the PSX and PS2, they both feature the tanks from Battletanx and similar stages and spot on gameplay. I need a copy of the PS2 version:kgcarini wrote:I second Battle Tanks Global Assault! It is a great multiplayer game.
Hori minis are a bit small, but they are quite functional. Arcade stick wise you have the Arcade shark and thats it. It is a nice stick, just not worth the $40 it goes for constantly and yes it is modable. I want four of them for Asteroids, but thats me being cheeky.AppleQueso wrote:SuperPad 64 Plus and the Hori minis (which look uncomfortably small to me).dsheinem wrote: they BOTH suck.

If you like the original, it is just that but prettier and coop. There is also a deathmatch mode. Well worth $3. I paid $5 for mine and when I was at a buddies tried it with the arcade shark, afterwards I really wanted one. If I am not mistaken you can play the game with the dpad, so a great game when your sticks are dead.

LOL I only have the newer ones, but i always hear my friends complain about how big the original ones are. i actually prefer this 3rd party controller i have that has the black and white buttons as bumpers or l1 and r1. it also has a 9 ft cord i think XD
