Ok - my two Saturn controllers are literally falling apart - guess thats what I get for buying used. So I go to ebay looking for controllers still new and sealed. I see tons of controllers advertised as being "new and never used" - yet they are not in packaging at all? Anyone else have this kind of experiance? Is it normal I should be wary of these claims? I notice the same thing for 6-button Genesis controllers.
Of course the only controllers still in boxes I see are 3rd party knock offs...

I don't understand why they would be out of the box, but you should give it a try because they probobly won't advertise new and sell used. And yes, new saturn pads are hard to find. I got my model 2 in its original box from a shady "vintage games dealer". There were all the notes of who owned it in the box, but it was only passed between game stores, no actual buyers, dating back to a K-Mart in 1997.
