Love the game. I have beat it about 20+ times. My wife even played about 2 years agos and loved it. She is more excited than I am for the sequel.

@ Dylan - What's the max you would pay for the game.
I know it goes for around $30-$200 on ebay, in varying condition and of course withthe obligatory sky-high "buy it now" prices. If it's as good as everyone says, I'll try and keep an eye out for it. Really, I'd maybe buy it at it's asking price, but not until I make it farther through all of the cheap games that I'm looking to buy.

Dylan, I might actually have a second copy (unless I sold it to Ack). I bought a jewel case copy at a walmart years ago, but found a minibox version at Goodwill last year for cheap (ironically cheaper than the jewel case version.

Also, if you haven't heard yet, the PSN and XBox360 version come bundled with the original Alice.

No word on whether the same will happen for PC, but it wasn't announced like it was for the consoles. Direct2Drive does have Alice: Madness Returns labeled as a bundle though.

I played it the first time around, and the graphics were awesome for the time. Sure stressed the hell out of my old PII based 400mhz Celeron. Had an i810 chipset on that thing, that was about the time I lost interest in PC games for obvious reasons.

I still have the disc somewhere, but lost the CD key a long time ago.

This looks awesome! My kind of game and the original was one of the few PC games I've played and enjoyed

Have the PC version, and just got hold of the OSX version. The original game actually runs decent on a Retro iMac CRT.

I can't wait to play this. To anyone who hasn't played the original: there's good reason everyone here is talking about how great it was. I can pick up a version now and be satisfied on the fact that the original is part of the deal even if the new one doesn't rise to the occasion thanks to JT's info.

A screenshot of the original OSX version, at the Pandemonium Stage.

Not bad for a year 2000 game. :D
