Other ways to play my Game Gear games?

My Game Gear is broken and it's going to be a while before I can fix it but I was wondering if there is another way to play my games. Is there some kind of peripheral that you can attach to a Genesis or Master System that allows you to play Game Gear games? Something like the Game Boy Player for the GameCube or the Super Game Boy for the SNES. -Thanks.

You can have it the other way around (SMS games on the game gear), but not a way to play them on the TV. There is an internal mod you can do, but it will only give you black and white output to a television. It's a pity too, because the game gear games are so good, but the hardware is not

I knew you could play SMS games on a Game Gear, which is really awesome because it expands the game library, but I'd rather have a Game Gear that I can play on the television. I'll either have to buy a couple of broken Game Gears and combine them to make a new one or buy one that works.

Or I could mod a Game Gear to make it a full-fledged game system. Could you imagine having controller ports and a/v output on a Game Gear? No more screen malfunctions!

Thanks for the links! This stuff is gonna get complicated but I think I can try to make it into a console. At the very least I can make the Game Gear work again.

Not sure if it helps, but I saw in the clearance bin at a local gamestore gamegears were only $5 each. If you are willing to pay for it + shipping, I can pick one up for you and sent it your way. I'd assume all of them have bad screens though if they are going that cheap :S
