Actually Europe got Another Code R (Trace Memory 2) aswell, perhaps that sort of game just does better over here? :S

That said, we also got NPC Pikmin 2 and Disaster Day of Crisis. You guys might complain, but I'm still lacking my fix of Retro Game Challenge, The Legendary Starfy, Chibi Robo:Park Patrol and Excitebots. At least DS is region free.

It must. They are all old-school style adventure games. And made by the same dev. even. I understand it's a buisness and I'm sure other countries have it even worse, but it's a shame Nintendo neglects to offer their own damn titles outside of particular territories.

They should at least have made Wii region free, like the DS.

Why I don't understand is why Nintendo USA doesn't sell off the publishing rights to games they don't intend to localize (Fatal Frame, Hotel Dusk 2, Disaster, etc). They get their money for practically free, we get our games released by a company willing to put the effort into localizing them. It's a win-win.

That's so stupid. I'm totally importing and dling it. I didn't know there was gonna be a sequel cuz I love Hotel dusk (and Trace memory.....to throw that in).

Fatal Frame Wii sounds like an awesome idea too!

Exactly. The French and German markets (which also includes Belgium, Austria ect.ect.) love adventure games. Many of the better adventure games are made by French/Germans and it takes over a year for them to be translated into English.

Anyway I can help you Hellhammer if you want. The place I buy my games from has it available for preorder for 32€ (31+1€ shipping cost) http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/ni ... 37189.html

for comparison's sake Play.com sells it 10€ more
http://www.play.com/Games/DS/4-/1605725 ... oduct.html

I just don't know how much the shipping from here to the US would cost. It shouldn't be too much, since it is a pretty light package.

Maybe to a lesser extent, but I'm pretty sure Britain was a good market for home computer games in the 80s and 90s, so I can imagine they were pretty popular here too.

yeah, but wasn't Britain a good market for British made games? And you aren't exactly known for your adventure games (RPGs and Platformers seamed to be your forte, or at least that's what RetroGamer keeps talking about :P).

Besides I'm talking about the modern industry. There are faaaaaaaaaar more adventure games being made today than people think. Only thing is that they don't get any exposure in English speaking markets, so people on the internet think the genre is dead.

Thanks a ton for the links man. That's awesome of you to offer to help me out. Depending on my funds, I may have to actually take you up on this.

I can't explain in words how much I agree with this and how often wonder myself.

Ok. pm me your adress (or at least stage and city) so I can go to the post office and ask how much it would cost to ship a light package to you.
