Well, that depends: are you going for one or both storylines? You'll be offered a choice almost immediately which will affect which path you follow. Currently I've put about 50 hours in, and I'm nearing the end of the first story. I also just gave up on the internet stuff, so that's not included beyond me checking emails. Also, while I've done well in fights so far, they're rapidly becoming tougher as I near the final boss, so I'm probably going to have to spend more time upgrading guys and teaching them new skills.Flake wrote:That game is quickly approaching in my backlog queue. Right now I am playing Dragonball: Origins
It's surprisingly good for a anime licensed action-rpg. It feels almost as solid as Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
What RPG are you playing right now?

I don't actually consider Zelda games to be RPG's (and we've already had this argument), but I felt it was fitting to include it in this thread.

...Zelda games aren't RPG's? What was the criteria for that decision?noiseredux wrote:I don't actually consider Zelda games to be RPG's (and we've already had this argument), but I felt it was fitting to include it in this thread.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I didn't say that to restart the argument.Flake wrote:...Zelda games aren't RPG's? What was the criteria for that decision?noiseredux wrote:I don't actually consider Zelda games to be RPG's (and we've already had this argument), but I felt it was fitting to include it in this thread.

gist of the argument: RPGs are stat-based, Zelda isn't (aside from Adventure of Link).

Moving along. DQ9 is still awesome.

Glad to hear it. So is 3D Dot Game Heroes. Front Mission 3 on the other hand is dragging along.MrPopo wrote:Moving along. DQ9 is still awesome.

I loved Front Mission 3. Not for everyone tho. I did get tired of playing it, but that was in the middle of the second story (ie, after beating and restarting the game, then choosing the other option in the beginning).Ack wrote:Glad to hear it. Still (slowly) playing Suikoden IV and I just picked up DQV again (haven't been taking the bus much lately). I kinda forgot how to get over to the place where the main character's mom was born, and I got my ass handed to me by the monster in the glowing jar, so I'm not even sure what I'm going to do next time I pick it up. Maybe pay a visit to the place where I was slave (it's a temple now, I think?) and see what's going on there.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
