Is this game better then the original ? I haven't played either but I like Sakura from SF and Batsu from TVC and that one guy from CVS 2 EO so I figured I'd show some interest. I know its 3D and all but its made buy capcom so its gotta be good right.

Re: Project justice!!!
It's a really great game. The Final Boss is really hard though.

Made by the extremely talented MrAfterFx!

Re: Project justice!!!
I was a die hard Rival Schools fan back in the day but it took me forever to get this game. The price of admission is pretty high (I got mine mint for $50 a few weeks back) but it's definitely worth it.
This game does pretty much everything the original did but more so. There are a few changes. Most notably, the priorities for different moves have been changed (it's harder to counter burning vigor with burning vigor reflexively) and the new characters are (imo) absolute bullshit. They are way too strong and have almost no drawbacks.
BUT, if you can get past that, this game is pretty much the complete deal. Though if you got it for Sakura, you'll be a little let down. She's not in this version of the game.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I love Rival Schools. I've only played this game like once or twice though.

Let me put it this way, it's a 3D fighter made with 2D fighting game fans in mind. It's 3D, it has 3D gameplay elements (sidestepping, etc), but it feels like a 2D fighter.
Re: Project justice!!!
I was aware that Sakura wasn't in it ( I wish she was ) but I'll survive im sure. I'll get my Sakura fix from SSF4. I've been looking into the game for a while but they sell for almost $100 buy it now and they hardly ever get put up for auction. I have been extremely into fighting games lately and am trying to build up a wicked collection.Flake wrote: This game does pretty much everything the original did but more so. What are the best characters/team to start with and get good with? I play Ryu in SF and pretty much every charge character aside from Chun Li and Blanka is my main character. I know that Batsu plays similar to Ryu do they fallow the same style of SF with the 3 styles shoto character charge characters and grapplers?

My personal favorite teams are Gorin High School and Pacific High School. Gorin's sports themed characters are quirky and a lot of fun (especially Shoma, if you can get around his lack of speed) and Pacific Highschools team of rich American stereo types is a great bunch to start with: Roy is pretty much the son of Bogard and Tiffany is the best 'boxer' type character I've ever played in a Capcom fighter.
Individually, Hideo of Justice is a complete shoto clone and easy to get into. Hinata is also pretty Ryu-esque. Hyo is almost completely broken and a very easy character to get used to the game with. Kyoko is a lot of fun as a surprise grappler (and a little bit of a Chun Li clone).

Re: Project justice!!!
Think that's why I loved the original Rival Schools. I'd love to get a copy of Project Justice. I loved Kyoko, granted I love female characters in fighters and beat'em ups in general, but she's a real personal fave. Reminds me of that one hot teacher or nurse everyone had in high school or college.AppleQueso wrote:Let me put it this way, it's a 3D fighter made with 2D fighting game fans in mind. Re: Project justice!!!
Project Justice is probably my favorite fighting game so far since it came out. Most of the characters seem to be charismatic and even the artwork shows off their personality. Also, my main team is Kyosuke/Daigo/Roberto. Kyosuke is definitely my MAIN since I truly master him.
My personal favorite moment in the game: when I link Kyosuke's Super Lightning Upper and dish out a 22 hit combo!!!
About the final boss, he is easy as long as if you predict his actions and perform the right moves.
