Finishing up watching Return of the Jedi. I really wish they would show the older, non-remastered ones. There are some parts I don't mind, like the better looking weapons fire, but there are other parts I just can't handle. Like in Jaba's lair, the extended jazzy alien dance/singing number. I hate that stuff. I don't care that you have better technology, it takes the exotic/alien nature away hearing modernish jazz-funk. I almost hate this as much as the Hayden Christiansen insert at the end. Just doesn't fit with the atmosphere of the film.

Alice in Wonderland... Weird but kinda good. Really shouldn't have billed Depp as the star when he barely has 20minutes of screen time.

Heh, yeah - I felt the same way. The music number really made me go 'Man... I don't remember it being this painful to watch...'

Is that from the original or re-digified one?

I just watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. I can see why people liked it so much; this is an awesome movie! There's quite a few jokes in it that only gamers get, and it made it even funnier, knowing that.

The difference between the US and UK version are huge. The philosophers part though I really don't get.
