Castle Shikigami 2 for PS2

Post by ott0bot »

Has anyone played the PS2 version? How does it hold up to GC or dreamcast version?
It's sooo much cheaper and easier to find, and it's region 1, of coarse! Is it worth the 8 bucks or what?

I picked the game up recently for about £3 in a WHSmith sale. Rather that than pay £40+ for the Dreamcast version! Appears to be exactly the same as the DC one (I know this because...well, you know..I "tested" it out.) and while it's quite an easy shump is pretty fun so yes, I'd say it's worth it.

the ps2 version is better, the backgrounds do more things.

i actuallly only played through the first stage so far, but i remember when i moved to the right the whole background would tild over and vice versa. nothing crazy, but it looked nicer. in the dreamcast version the background stayed flat.

i sold it just cause im a die hard dreamcast fan, but the ps2 version is the same game, a little better and much much cheaper.

unless you download the dreamcast version for free, lol
