Thanks, don't know how I forgot Bio-Hazard Battle. Sagaia is Darius II and I am trying to make it regular STG only so I am not adding any fixed shooters, arena shooters, run n' guns, etc. I almost added Ranger-X but it does not have forced scrolling.

there is a web site that you should go to for your shmups collection. it is called www.shmups.com then go to the xenocide files and hit the genesis page.

Durr, I don't know why I said Space Invaders. You should take Twinkle Tale off the list then as you move at your own pace. Same with Atomic Robo Kid. Granada and Subterranea are more of a huge arena shooters too.

You might add Atomic Runner. Yes it is a side scroller and you are running but you cannot stop.

Thanks, I took off Viewpoint also since it is like Zaxxon.

Wow, that game looks cool. I don't think I would consider it a shmup but I want to play it for sure. It's like a run 'n' gun with forced scrolling, pretty cool.

Thinking about it does Sunset Riders have forced scrolling? I cannot remember atm.

I think everything but Magical Girl from that list is covered aside from CD, arena, and 'flying into the screen' ones which Octo seems to be skipping.

Nah, it's run n gun, at least on the SNES.

It is a pretty big list but I think I might focus my collecting here for a bit, at least the better ones anyhow. I need to figure which ones are better on the PCE though I guess.

Twin Cobra / Kyuykoku Tiger is better on PCE IMHO.

I have Twin Hawk / Daisenpuu on both Gen and PCE, but I'm not sure which is better yet. There's also Daisenpuu Custom for PCE CD, but I'm not sure what it adds.

Air Buster /Aero Blasters is better on PCE at the least because there's not the pause where you're forced to stare at the picture of the team and wait each game.

Forgotten Worlds is a CD game on PCE and is supposedly better, but 1 player only. Both versions are missing things though so I'd just play this on the Capcom Collection disc.

Hellfire on Gen is a cart, Hellfire S on PCE is a CD.

Not sure how Raiden compares as I traded my Gen copy and have the PS1 version now.

I think that's all the games that are a cart on the Gen but appear on the PCE in some form as well.
