The retro game system bug bit me again and I recently picked up a Master Power Converter for my Sega Genesis which will allow me to play Master System Games. I'll probably also pick up a converter that allows me to play these games on my Game Gear.
Anyway, I also just bought a nice Sega Light Phaser and plan to get the 3-D glasses soon. So, what's missing? Games of course!
I didn't really get into gaming until the Genesis was into it's prime years so I missed the Master System's heyday. I plan to get a few shooting and 3-D games and some others, but what are some of the better (playability, fun, etc.) games for that system? Games I'm looking to get in the short term:
-Spy vs. Spy
-Shooting Gallery and Trap Shooting
-Great Football (I love retro football games in general even though they often suck)
I had an incredible Intellivision collection once and sold it all for pretty good bucks. I collected excellent systems in boxes, all the peripherals in boxes and nearly a hundred games in boxes with inlays. It was all beautiful and wonderfuly retro, but I never really played it! I'm more than happy with my Intellivision Lives! for my Playstation when I want an Intellivision experience (and I only really like about two IV games anyway). My point is, I'm hoping to find a few SMS games that are FUN so I don't get into the same deadend I found myself in with my Intellivision. I have most everything Sega ever made in their history of systems but just not the SMS stuff.

Fantastic, that's some great information. It's so hard to find screen shots and game reviews of this old stuff on places like GameSpot so this information was greatly helpful.racketboy wrote:Might want to give these a look:
