EARTHBOUND!

Post by technohat »

I stopped at a garage sale and found a copy of Earthbound with over-sized box and two copies of the strategy guide. It was apparently an ex-rental store copy but I don't care.
Even better was the price, a whopping 50 cents. :-)

That's easily the best deal I've heard about in a long, long while. The large box and strategy guide catapult the worth of the game.

I have two copies of the large box as well, for some reason (I bought the game when it came out, so no idea how I ended up with two), but alas the strategy guide seems to be missing.

I also forgot to mention my loot from another sale earlier in the morning. Not nearly as impressive but...

Heavenly Guardian (Wii)
Spider Man (PS2)
Spider Man 2 (PS2)
And a framed poster of this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/6 ... SS500_.jpg

Imo, Bloody Roar 2 was the pinnacle of the series; my favorite character is Bakura or Alice, how bout yours?

So far, I'm liking Alice, since I'm a newcomer to the series and I find her to be a pretty well-rounded and conventional fighter. If I had to pick a second, I'd choose Yugo simply because his story seems the most interesting so far..
