Final Fantasy X-2 and 12

The main thing I dislike about XII is there is a big fat amount of grinding in the game, the further you go, the bigger these monster grinding sessions are, maybe I am just shit at it, but it bugs me going from total god in terms of strength to utter weakling in one dungeons time.

Another thing I don't like is the way the story is told, while most of us play final fantasy games for the character based stories, XII is the black sheep by that standard as the story is much more 'country based' I feel like I am playing a political playing game.

I actually liked the political storytelling, I thought it was intriguing. I agree on the grinding part though, that's the biggest reason I never finished it.

yeah, I only ever used 3 people in FFXII, because levelling all 6 was rediculous. I reallyhope it doesnt pull a 3 go this way, 3 go that way thing on me though, because i am so screwed if that happens. 3 of my party are like level 30, and the other 3 are levels 9,10 and 12 respectively....

i like FF 12 at start, there are lots of good locations, but near the middle of game all stuff crashes
also characters are very childish
i read somewhere that Matsuno wanted Basch and Ashe as main characters but Squareenix changed ideas and continued game without Matsuno

Girly? All because the main protagonist is a girl, doesn't mean it's girly.¬¬

I enjoy both games.

X-2: I really enjoy how any character can be any class, it makes things more interesting and gives you more variety.

XII: I really love the customization, you can give any character whatever weapon and magic you desire. I especially like this, because I hate swords so I gave Vaan a Spear. I also gave Penelo a Crossbow and I think she is suited for that, rather than a staff.
I also give everyone magic of all kinds.
