Hats of for FFCD!

For the red demons, I either hope to have the dagger or arrows. Shoot shoot shoot, run the opposite direction a'la Ghosts'n'Goblins, crouch, shoot shoot shoot, repeat. And just hope the fucker doesn't swoop down and shoot you with those electricity balls (or whatever they are). If it's a tight corridor like in the last level, I try to have the dagger, as the magic for the bow won't do much, and just rapid fire the demon.

It's different on the GBA, at least the way I played it. You can save at the beginning of each level, but some levels are throw backs to the arcade version. I'd suggest buying it if you have a GB, or if you're honest and responsible, you can borrow it from me.

Luigi's mansion (Gc)
Starfox 64 (N64)
Pokemon snap! (N64)
Final fantasy 7 (Ps1)
Assassin's Creed 2 (Ps3)
Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 (Ps3)
Fallout 3 (Ps3)
Portal (Ps3 orange box)
Kirby's Adventure (NES)

I think thats it. My starfox 64 cartirdge doesnt save but i didnt need to, since i beat it in like 1 hour XD. Luigi's mansion was really fun, and FF7 is my favorite game. It was my first RPG i beat on a console, not handheld. I dont even own AC2, i borrowed it from a friend and beat it plus got all the trophies lol. MW2 was really fun, but the first one has a better campaign. Fallout 3 was great, although a little laggy at times. Portal was the first puzzle game i beat and holy crap that took me forever. EDIT: i beat kirby on my nes last night. i totally changed my video game set up and its alot better that before, so to celebrate, i was trying old nes games i had and i forgot that i was at the very end of kirby. that game was hard as crap.

I hope to beat: Half life 2, FF9, God of War, okami and metriod prime before the years over

flashback was good. controls much much tighter than prince of persia. with that being said, i still prefer the prince with the shittier controls. whatever i do, i try not to use a walkthrough. if i am stuck, i normally will turn off the game, walkaway for a few hours/day, and come back to it being less frustrated and with a fresh mind. i couldn't get this door open and i tried and i tried and i tried. after a day or two i resorted to an online walkthrough and opening the door just involved shooting it with your gun. how fucking dumb is that shit?

boogerman was good. i really liked the hand drawn graphics. but who would have thought boogers, farts, and mucous would be so worthwhile? the hit detection was a little whack. you had to be pretty precise to jump on enemy heads or to make a jump onto a platform.

bioshock was a game that i beat earlier in the year and just remembered it. i thought it was pretty cool. i know the game is known for having a cool story, but i didn't care to follow it.
if you took a shit, please put it back

January - June: 50 games (click for titles and stats)
Angry Birds -iPhone
Deathsmiles - 360
Bonk's Adventure - PCE
Halo: ODST - 360
Need For Speed: Undercover -iPhone
Dante's Inferno -PS3
BlazBlu: Calamaity Trigger -PS3
Space Invaders: Infinity Gene -iPhone
Ridge Racer - PS1 *new*
Tiki Totems - iPhone *new*
Fallout 3 - PS3*new*

Total: 61

Ridge Racer has to be one of the best launch games of all time. Beating all the tracks took a good deal of work, though, as the latter ones crank up the difficulty.

Tiki Totems is kind of like a scaled down Boom Blox for the iPhone, which means that it is fun. Some of the levels offer a slight challenge, but nothing too tough.

Fallout 3 was a game I started playing late last year. At the time, I got far enough to get out of the vault (a few hours in) but quickly stopped in the first town when I was overwhelmed with the amount of things to do. A few weeks ago I picked the game up again and have now played through to the end of the main game (doing about half of the side quests along the way). The game is fun, if buggy, and the overarching narrative and expansive world are the real highlights. I managed to finish the main quests right around level 17 and with just a little over 24 hours put in. I have the GOTY edition and so the "Broken Steel" expansion starts right up at the end of the main game - I'll probably wait a while until I delve into it and the other add-ons.

I did get the gold chocobo, as well as the four materia inside the four caves you need special chocobos for. i did not beat emerald or ruby weapon. It was my first JRPG and first play through of the game, so i might go back just to beat the two bonus weapons since i have 2 save files.

Hour wise i think i did like 65 or so, im not sure though.

I've been reading a lot lately, and I haven't spent much time with games. I spent a month playing Red Faction on again/off again and then took a long break from it before finally coming back. While there are some things I didn't like, especially the large number of online multiplayer achievements and the final level, I thought it was a pretty good game.
