Yeah you could've spent that two minutes spelling "you" in full.

Reminds me of snack truck / ultra dolphins.

EDIT!!: 666 POSTS!!! BWAHAHAHA! Who knows how long I'll hold out before posting again!?

That's the hip new thing. For the past 3 or 4 years cassettes have made a huge comeback in the punk/indie scene. Especially for Noise bands and indie label compilations.

Dude, my last three posts have all pointed out that it was a very different experience live, and the only person I recommended their studio recordings to was a guy who specifically brought it up. I was only trying to share the experience I had with this band live -- no reason to be a jerk about it, man.

EDIT: I've been talking to their drummer, and he says that someone at the show recorded the set. If he can get ahold of it, he'll send the files to me, and I'm certain that they wouldn't mind me sharing it with you all, given their sensibilities.

<---drummer here.

To the guy who posted Ultra Dolphins and Man At Arms;
the guys in Man At Arms are good friends of ours and a big influence on what we do! We stayed with the drummer (Ted) during our tour. Wonderful, wonderful guys. I recommend checking out Man At Arms and Ultra Dolphins LONG before you check any of our stuff out.

Thanks for the kind words all -- If this album sells well the next album we put together should have higher production values -- The album was recorded in a small studio close to St. Louis on a small budget, don't let that discourage you from checking it out! (the CD and cassette version were built from lossless files while the myspace track and any other sample songs floating around are compressed mp3 files).

One of the bands I play in (Yes, Sensei) played with Man At Arms a while ago on tour.

I'll definitely be checking this out once I get back from work and a show I have tonight.

Oh man, both of those bands are outstanding! Ultra Dolphins's sound was just inconceivably tight, particularly for a live recording captured via cam-corder! And I know this is a "no-duh", but the guy playing guitar and drums simultaneously is DAMNED impressive. I'm loving Man at Arms as well, possibly a little more... would I be too far off to say that they sound like Evens songs being played by Fugazi? My iPod is about to be very happy thanks to you two.

YES! This made me laugh and just... So happy.

Also, I just ordered Spelling Bee's cassette. Should sound excellent with my "new" Walkman WM-20.
