Is DC-X worth it?

Post by GagaMan »

I already have other boot discs for my Dreamcast, but I heard that DC-X has a bunch of options on it, such as being able to choose between 50 and 60HZ on any game, which would be very useful to me. Can anyone confirm what options the DC-X has from experience? Thanks.

Or you could download a selfbooted copy of DC-X like I did. It's my import disc of choice. It works perfectly with shenmue 2 and headhunter, and VGA functions. It has some other features, but I dont have the DC hooked up right now to verify them.

Underground Gamer has these. Shoot me a PM if you need an invite.

I did attempt to download it on a torrent once (the file was huge) but the seed died. I've been given a 2nd chance offer for £6 +£2.50 postage.

I think paying for a boot disk is dumb. Honestly I can get you an invite to underground gamer and they have everything as far as the Dreamcast goes.

Well, it would be the first time I have paid for one (with the exception of Bleem for Tekken 3), so I'll pass on buying it me thinks. I'm all up for getting in on Underground gamer, why not?
