This is a link to various essays about the creation science view.

Correction: These are lists of books suggested BY a pro-creationism website, so I am sure they will have objective perspectives.

Creation science is a god damn oxymoron.

Oh thank you so much for your very objective opinion
I moved our further discussion to the "Mosques" thread as it fit better with the ongoing discussion there.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions guys! This thread has been more successful than I thought it would be. As far as psychology goes, I'm interested in things more related to human behavior and bias.

Keep 'em coming guys! You've been very helpful so far.

Origin of Species certainly does, although it would be considered outdated by a century and a half. The God Delusion and A Brief History of Time do as well, although neither is something that would appear in any research paper or scientific journal!

It all depends on exactly what the OP was looking for.

As for dsheinem, while it's true he came off as a biased prick (hey man, that IS how it looked!), I will also give a word of caution with "Dr. Dino." Even most of the fundamentalist Christian pro-creationist institutions stay away from him. There's a reason for that. He has used a lot of outdated arguments that have been shown fraudulent and sticks to them despite other creationists pointing out their flaws. He's an interesting guy to listen to, nonetheless.

As opposed to mental disorders?

I recently re-read The God Delusion and I wouldn't pick it up for the purpose of understanding anything evolution. It's more a very light summary of evolution that is meant to underscore his argument that god (probably) doesn't exist.

Here is a more recent book by Dawkins.
