Because I only used to play arcades if they had special controls, and I'm not that big fan of driving (although I did a small share of Daytona and Sega Rally), I have to say Virtua Cop 1 and 2 are my faves. For nostalgia reasons I guess.

Also, Thunder Blade (that old chopper game) because it's probably one of the earliest games I think I may have played :P

After Virtua Cop 2 I stopped going to the arcades much.

I didn't know the Star Wars Trilogy one was from Sega.

Ivo.

Sega Rally,
Virtual Cop 2,
House of the Dead 1-4,
Golden Axe,
Daytona,
Virtual Figher

and although its since been surpassed in every way I've got good memories of Virtual Racer and how it just blew the competition out of the water.

I've heard of it though...
I think some form of the game came out on the Saturn (called Rad Racer or something).

Your car had a small Sonic dangling from the rear view mirror and I recall that you had a button just for using your car wipers! Those are the two main features of the game that stick out for me.

Dont think its everyones cup of tea but I was quite fond of this. Hmm better go see if I have this for MAME.

Man, it's so easy to forget how much great stuff Sega released ,untill you read people trying list them and it all comes rushing back.

For me:
Sega rally ( Can't live with it on consoles, Can't live without it in arcades)
Wonderboy ( Not really an arcade experience for me , I had it on sms)
Cray Taxi ( DC- No arcade experience )

The unfortanate thing about where I live is that there is no Arcades in town at all. The closest thing is the local bowling alley that has a few good games but that is it.The only other time I get to play in arcades is when I go to Brisbane for business or family. I am so deprived

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Well, I tried my shiny new (well, to me at least) Mad Catz Dreamcast guns, and they work better than my old Interact gun for HotD2 on my old CRT TV, but none of them work on my HDTV. I used my VGA box and tried plain ol' composite, but none of them would calibrate right. Oh well, it was fun blasting on Zombies again.

Traditional lightguns and HD/LCD/Plasma/Projector -TVs do not mix. This is why I am in favor of Sega porting all of their lightgun games to the Wii.

My favorite is Crazy Taxi, I've beaten arcade and original mode, on the Dreamcast, along with the Crazy Box, and I hold the record at the arcade machine at my local Beef O' Brady's.
