So I recently acquired a Family Computer. $35, pretty damn good deal, actually.
But that aside, I realized that this thing is TINY, I can literally hold it in one hand, all the way around.
As I expected, the mobo is incredibly small. Like 1/4 -1/3 the size of an American NES.
Here are a few pics I took, More later.

RF box!
If anyone has any requests, leave them here! I will be taking more pictures soon, along with making a how-to guide to hook it up to an American TV.(It is actually different, lol)

I just got one recently too. Now I just need to get a decent third party controller with a longer cord. I don't know what they were thinking with the little two foot cords.

haha good luck with that one.Octopod wrote:I just got one recently too. Now I just need to get a decent third party controller with a longer cord. I don't know what they were thinking with the little two foot cords.
The only two I know of are the Hudson controller, and the hori controller.
there are a couple Hudsons on ebay right now, for around $50. I've never seen the hori pad on ebay, though.

Got my first Famicom back in the mid 80s, loved it ever since.
Now I have a modded one for AV output, along with the original one I've had.

There is a wireless one, which I own...along with the HORI, which was 100 yen at the recycle shop. The hori one is tethered to the Seta wireless pad so you don't need two!

Didn't "sneak" it in there, it just sits on my desk. If I were to attempt showing off
a GB light, I would show off my Tezuka Osamu GB light which is listed on my SALE
thread which you can access via my signature.
