Frosty Flakes.
It is the Generic version of Frosted Flakes; much better and much cheaper too.

My top cereals:
1. Oatmeal-- not the instant crap. Into a ziplock bag I put a half-cup of old-fashioned oats, a little cinnamon, a little evaporated milk powder (optional), and a scoop of chocolate-flavored whey protein powder. If I can get unsweetened protein powder, then I add about a teaspoon of sugar. I can then add water and microwave this when I'm at the office.
2. Frosted Mini Spooners. Yes, I am particular about brand here. Malt-O-Meal is actually superior in this case.
3. Any variant of Super Golden Crisp/Smacks/Sweetened Puffed Wheat
4. Any but the absolute lowest-end iteration of raisin bran
5. Any type of frosted flakes.
I rarely eat any but my number one pick, though. I couldn't tell you the last time I've had numbers 3, 4, or 5.

I'm with you. Honeycomb, while tasty, sucks compared to Waffle Crisp.lisalover1 wrote:My favorite is Waffle Crisp. Everybody always says they prefer Honeycomb, but I have no idea why.
To answer the question, I like pretty much any cereal. I can't really give a favorite since it depends entirely on my mood.
There's nothing I really wont eat, but I'm not fond of any corn cereal. For instance, Corn Flakes suck, Special K (made from rice) is the fucking bomb. In turn, Corn Chex suck, Rice Chex rule (anyone remember Chex Quest?)
I have a fondness for any cereal with "marshmallows" (ha! nothing but shaped clumps of sugar! Tasty though.).
One thing I'll never understand is why people put sliced fruit into their cereal. The texture gets all messed up. If I wanted a soggy mess (bananas) I could just let the bowl sit for 20 minutes. When I have fruit with my cereal I eat it separate.
To each his own and all, but I just don't get it.

I don't get the fruit thing either. But I think adding anything wet to your cereal is disgusting.CFFJR wrote:I'm with you. Honeycomb, while tasty, sucks compared to Waffle Crisp.lisalover1 wrote:My favorite is Waffle Crisp. Everybody always says they prefer Honeycomb, but I have no idea why.

I think strawberries in milk tastes amazing! I don't like banana, but raspberries are also great. I only like fruit in a cereal where the fruit stands out, not in any sugary cereals. Unless it takes you an hour to eat a bowl, the strawberries stay pretty firm (not so much with the raspberries).

Re: YO! Racketeers, whats yo favorite Cereal?!
Let's see. Ones that are bad for me.
Reeses (I get the Kroger generic which is exactly the same)
Honey Comb
Honey Grahams
Raisin bran
Ones that are good (or at least better) for me.
Granola
Shredded wheat
Wheatabix
Rice Krispies (usually buy generic)
Puffed rice
Puffed wheat
Special K
I agree that Cookie Crisp changed for the worse somewhere along the way. I didn't have it very often as a kid but I bought it while at school occasionally and I remember it changing and not being as good too. I usually keep 1 sweet and one non sweet cereal around though I do add some sugar to non-sweetened cereal. Always a lot less than presweetened stuff though.
Anyone else find the serving sizes ridiculous on cereal? If I'm making a meal out of cereal that's all I eat. Admittedly I'll eat it for any meal, I'm not picky about eating a food at the 'right' time. Each bowl worth is probably 2-3 servings and I might eat anywhere from 1 to 3 normally. I think I ate more than half a (decent sized) box of cereal once that I was really hungry.
