Video Game News Sites?

Can anybody recommend a good news website concerning video game news?

I've always gone to 1Up.com for my daily headlines, but ever since it's split with EGM, it's gotten so pretentious and frat-boyishly annoying.. Daily headlines consist more of bikini girls playing kinnect and some random guy's ogling of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 than company mergers, insider game info, and developer interviews..

Anyway, I was thinking of Destructoid or Kotaku? Are they good sites for current news?

I go to these two each day and there's always a wealth of new articles. The websites have varied and up-to-date information, so I highly recommend them.

Kotaku is about 25% game news these days. Everything else is nerd culture.

I hate kotaku with a passion, it's so high school clique-ish.

Avoid kotaku, as they, Gawker, will do anything to generate page views, and write about shit.

Destructoid is good, if yo don't mind alot of fanboy writers.

Epic battle axe is cool.

I actually prefer the fanboy writers a little bit.

The more neutral writers over there always stick to the Destructoid formula without even trying to make a point. It's just posting news and asking the readers, "And what do you think?"

At least Jim Sterling is entertaining.

I read Gamespot.com becuase they have the most content, but I love the staff at Joystiq.com. They also have an amazing podcast, Joystiq. Check it out on iTunes. It comes out every week.
