If you were, like me, awaiting the release of Rent A Hero on Xbox, please post in this thread so we can get some attention:

I have it on DC but could never even figure out how to exit the house. I discovered the game after discovering the Genesis one, after doing a search on the character because he was my favorite in Fighters Megamix.

So uh....it was coming to Xbox you say?

It was on the XBox -- he's talking about it becoming a "Xbox Originals" download for the 360...

Yeah. It was released in japan, but cancelled here, even after it was fully translated and "went gold" as they say.

Was always interesting in this game. I could be wrong but this was made by one of the guys on the Shenmue team right? Or had some link with Shenmue right?

Or am I just dreaming up this link?!?

No, you're right and remember correctly.

It was made by AM2 and has many similarities to Shenmue. You may also remember it from the Rent A Hero toy capsule in Shenmue, which is where I learned about the RAH games. We were discussing it in the Shenmue thread over at the Xbox Originals forum.

Yes, there's a thread for Shenmue. And it's very popular.

No, you're right and remember correctly.
