Proud New Owner of a Game Boy Pocket! But loose D-Pad?

Post by Pichu »

Hello, today I just scored myself a Game Boy Pocket Clear, but I fear for its D-Pad. Is it normal for it to move around like that?

I have one and my d-pad is pretty loose also. If I shake it the d-pad rattles around enough that it makes noise. I'm not sure if that is how they came originally though since I got mine as a gift from a friend when he bought a GBA.

I don't understand the point of bumping a question topic 5 hours after you made the post. It's not like we're sitting around all day waiting for forum questions to come in and jump right on them. After a couple days and still no response, then it's perfectly fine to bump the topic.

Now, now, he's probably new here. You should give him a bit of a break.

As for the topic at hand, all Gameboy Pockets have loose d-pads. As long as it still functions, you shouldn't have any issue.
