old magazines.

Post by raztat »

I have a large box filled with old gaming magazines. Its taking up much needed space. I don't want to just throw them out into the trash. I would actually like to keep them but that is impossible, what could I do with them?

I had to make room myself, donated first three years of PC Gamer Magazines to local library. Well I kept the premiere issue and a couple specials. What mags are they, maybe someone here would take them? If valuable might be able to sell?

it ranges from pc gamer, to playstation magazine, to nintendo power to game informer. Ill go through later and list all there is. The box weighs at least 50 lbs.

I'll take everything except for PC Gamer.

But seriously, you could probably sell the magazines here and get a good chunk of change from pretty much anyone here, including myself, though I'm strapped for cash. Damn companies not hiring teens these days...
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Agree with those that say you could sell them. You might make a bit of cash and you'd allow another retro fanatic to enjoy them.

Also, if you have the time and patience, have you considered scanning them and keeping digital copies ont your computer? You could just do your favourite issues if you don't want to do them all.

Might be interested if there's anything with early sonic on the cover that's in good condition.
