Is this a bootleg hori compact?

Post by Pookie »

Found this on ebay and it kind of looks like a hori compact PS1 stick. Anyone have any info on it?

Well, it's not a hori stick.

What exactly are you asking?

Definitely not a HORI, it's not even the same shape.

I've seen the Hori version, it's definitely not identical.

I would probably avoid it because of their 98.8% rating

Maybe my title was misleading

I know it is not a hori compact stick, but it does look similar. I was asking if anyone had any info on it because it looks neat and I am kind of interested in trying it out.

For $25, anyone who's a stick snob is going to tell you it's garbage. Whatever you do don't ask on Shoryuken.com or someone will probably be sent to kills your pets and family.

I'm not a stick snob nor a fighting afficianado, but I'm still sure it will suck for fighting games. If you're ok with cheap pedestrian sticks, it might be fine for shmups if it doesn't have any issues with sticking in the corners but it is surely all rubber dome switches. I doubt it's easily moddable either since it's small, if at all.
