The makers of the emulators don't include the bios (the heart of our consoles, what makes it work) because it's illegal. You'll have to find the Mega Drive and Sega CD bioses by yourself on the internet and loading them in the picodrive folder.

good luck!

How's the Sega CD emulator working? I'm really tempted to mod/hack a psp just to play some old Sega CD games.

I've noticed after doing some research, it seems like if you do put the CFW on your PSP and download games, you really can't play the newer stuff. I mean, MGS: Peace Walker wanted a system update of 6.20 or higher (I think). Can you even get CFW that would allow that game to run?

It seems like what would make the most sense for me to do is buy another PSP and mod it. (I'll keep my 3000 updated and legal, playing all the new stuff, being able to get on the PSN store to rent movies, etc.) I've seen some PSPs on craigslist for as low as $60. I could have that one set up with emulators and older games.

Does anyone else feel like there is a give and take to using CFW?

I believe with the Prometheus patch, you can get the newer games to run on M33.

Yeah you named a few there that I really want to play. I love Double Switch (call me crazy) and in fact I was way into all FMV games when I was a kid. As for Snatcher, I've always wanted to play it. The sound lines up ok? Was it much of a headache getting it on the PSP and running?
