Deception Series Review.

Anyone else play the Deception games? Anytime I mention it to other gamers, they either have never heard of it or never tried it. Anyways, I finally got ahold of the rest of the series again and I thought I'd do a video about it.

This game has popped up on my radar ever since Gamerforlife made a thread about it a while ago. As someone new to the series, would you suggest any one game first? Or would it just be better to play them chronologically?

Yeah, that's right I did make a thread about that didn't I? I loved that series and own all but one of the installments

In my personal opinion, Deception 2 is a good place to start. More accessible than the first and probably has aged a bit better than the original

I agre with Gamerforlife and would start with either 2 or 3. 2 is fantastic, but 3 almost seems like its better then 3. I've only played about a hour into 3 though, so I guess your safe bet is 2.

I've had Trapt for ps2 sitting on my shelf for the longest time but I just haven't played it. I spent about thirty minutes with it and got irritated by the tutorials and the camera after I got it. I love the idea of the game, I just need something to motivate me to play it over all the other damn games I have.

Trust me, I know how it is to want to sit down and play through a game, but not have the time due to other games and life in general. It pays off though when you finally do play it and go: "What a great game, I wish I would of played that sooner!" Its like finding gold.

I picked up Trapt recently as well. Also, have not really played it. I fiddled with it for a little bit and eventually got one of my booby traps to nab a guy. That was pretty cool. Hopefully, I'll find a bit of time for it later.

Funny story I picked up deception 1 the year hurricane katrina hit.I was in miami for vacation and a cd music store had it for 4.99 cib.after getting home in N.Y.C. i checked it out and i didnt appeal to me,so i went into your local neighborhood game store to trade it in and the dude was like .50 cents for it and i really didnt care much cause it wasnt a known title and back then i wasnt clear on whats a hard to find game and a rare one so the guy offered me 5 bucks and i accepted.So heres the funny part 5 or so years later(as in today)I make a road trip to delaware(about 45 mins from where im from today) and my not so secret retro dealer happens to have a pristine copy of tecmos deception cib for 9.99.so to make a long story short karma rewarded me by reuniting me with a bad trade regret so im happy with about 8 other retro goodies I snagged up today.
