Retro Stores: The death of retro gaming?

I think independent Retro Stores should be supported when possible. Competition always good. If there is a huge price disparity then yes, I will buy at Gamestop. I'll buy at the Retro store if not too much higher price to get the pristine disc based game with manuals and everything. A lot better then the goofy anime gamestop cover on a generic manual-less DVD case.

I have not been in a huge chain Retro store such as PlaynTrade, though would love to visit one. From what has been posted large chain retro stores seem overpriced by using EBay prices. Speaking of EBay, that is my last source unless a good deal and or desperate to get that unique find. I don't think the mention earlier of Retro stores setting the high standard prices is entirely true. Online sales sets the standard which has allowed easy great finds of Retro but at the lot higher price then one would discover at a garage sale.
