Street Fighter X Tekken announced

I do hope they include some non-Street Fighter and non-Tekken characters though. Like Pac-Man and Mega-Man for instance!

I dont see it happening if the title is SF Vs Tekken, also with MvC3 coming out, it would be two Capcom vs games close to one another. Keep it SF I reckon.

In 1up's video the gameplay seems to work pretty well.

I actually don't think that projectiles are a big problem for Capcom to deal with, or they wouldn't have grapplers in their games.

I honestly don't like this idea at all.. Two different gaming styles collaborating isn't my idea of fun.. I just think it's yet another $50 game out there to sell for money.. The only VS game I ever appreciated was Capcom Vs SNK simply because those were two similar franchises mixing it up.. This just seem too awkward for me..

Looks exactly like SF4 with Tekken characters. Color me disinterested... for now, anyway.

I'm disappointed that it's just Street Fighter and Tekken. If this had been Capcom vs Namco, it'd be a day one purchase.

Just never been a huge fan of either Street Fighter (except SF3) or Tekken (although I did play a ton of Tekken 3, I just never felt the need to buy another iteration after Tekken 3. Seriously, I tried Tekken 4, 5 & 6, and I always end up popping Tekken 3 in afterward).

If we could have seen Morrigan vs Ivy, Mega Man vs Klonoa, Captain Commando vs KOS-MOS, this would have been a day one purchase. Instead, I'll probably just wait 'til I can get this used.

Did you ever play Tekken Tag Tournament? It was based on the Tekken 3 engine if I remember right.

But yeah, a general Namco vs Capcom would be a lot more interesting. Personally though, I'd prefer a Konami vs Capcom

Looks interesting. I definitely wouldn't mind beatin' the shit out of the SF cast with Kazuya either.

I'm glad to see that they went with the SF style graphics/gameplay rather than the 3D look of Tekken. If it were up to me, the game would be in true 2D.

There's another game in the works that takes the Tekken route apparently.
