The only thing I seriously question is how both teams plan to balance the gameplay mechanics since Street Fighter and Tekken play a lot differently. Especially when you consider that the Street Fighter characters have special moves like fireballs and aerial attacks, whereas the Tekken crew are more standard, hand-to-hand combat-based... like Virtua Fighter

I would give the Capcom build a try, however I just dont feel like I would enjoy this game, I know it will feature SF-esque controls but I generally don't like Tekken at all, so it will be interesting to see how it plays.

Damn I'm stoked for this. I've just started to really get into Tekken, and I love it. I'm definitely more partial to Namco fighters (Soul Calibur, Tekken), and it sounds like it's for all the reasons everyone else doesn't like them as much as Capcom fighters! I personally can't stand Street Fighter, it's just not fun to me, but a lot of my friends are into it so this will provide a pretty decent middle ground.

I do hope they include some non-Street Fighter and non-Tekken characters though. Like Pac-Man and Mega-Man for instance!
