My desktop runs Clockwork Night in SSF at full speed, which is pretty good since my computer is just a so-so model from Dell. Tis a good emulator.

Shining Force runs alittle slow on SSF and Cassini and it does have some minor graphical glitches, I do not remember dots under the words when people were talking. However it is quite playable.
Soukyugurentai however runs very slow on Cassini and I could not make it run on SSF for some reason. But it is late and I did just get in from a party so I will try again tomorrow.
Sadly I do not believe the chip on the EEE supports SSE2, meaning Saturn emulation is not possible. I found this out because apparently my xp 2600+ doesnt support it either.
Ammenduem:
My mistake - the EEE does support SSE2, it does not support SSE3. Saturn emulation is a possibility. But if my rig is running them slow, and Yabause requires much higher specs than Cassini or SSF, well I dont have much faith in it running NiGHTS full speed.

Trust me
ssf emulator is probably the best emulator out there.
it's always getting an update. actually this is the only saturn
emulator that's currently active. A ton of games work on this full speed
but it also depends on your computer setup. you really need a high end comp
the emulator to work. but not a totally maxed out one.
