Alice: Madness Returns

Looks like we're getting a sequel to American McGee's Alice. I remember playing the first game back in high school and having a lot of fun with it. The interpretation of Wonderland reflecting Alice's psychosis was very cool, and the game play was solid. I never beat it though; I got stuck in the final level in a room full of mirrors and couldn't figure out how to proceed.

I loved everything about that game, I still have my copy of it and play it once in a while. Heh, when I first saw it in a magazine I never thought a game could look any prettier.

Ugh, I really want to give this (now series) a shot, but the first one first one commands a high price.

Good, something for me to get excited about. Hopefully it will be as good as the first one was.

The first one was one of the very few PC games that I've actually bought and played. I hated the mouse/keyboard controls, but I did manage to beat the game with a little patience and I really enjoyed everything else about it. I really love demented takes on classic characters from fairy tales or old children's books, which is why B.B. Hood is my favorite Darkstalkers character.

Alice is one of the best games I have ever played, Alice 2 is looking to be good but unless they give me the fight with the steampowered snail from the promo I will be disappointed.

Love the game. I have beat it about 20+ times. My wife even played about 2 years agos and loved it. She is more excited than I am for the sequel.

@ Dylan - What's the max you would pay for the game.

I have to admit I never picked up the first because the dated graphics turned me off. This seems a good chance for me.
