I agree. I dont partake in card collecting anymore. And, I bet in time, video games will also be graded on a scale also. (sounds like a good business at ground level!)videogameexperiment wrote:Card values have been absolutely ruined with flooded market. Plus to get anything for your card it needs to be graded and come back 9/10.
Let's hope that grading bull never catches on with games.
Anyone know the value of this baseball card?

Oops, I thought they numbered the cards separately. I guess Tiffany and the normal cards have the same number. So I guess they are identical cards, except Tiffany is high gloss and says Tiffany on the back. My mistake. Good luck with the sale. I have some baseball cards I need to sell off as well.joehero wrote: Its the TIFFANY card. Tiffany cards are a parallel set. You get one tiffany card per 20 packs. They are a high gloss card with the word tiffany on the back. The card you are referring to is the card from the regular set. In the Beckett price guide it lists this card for $300 high.

Lol I happen to have a 1992 Topps Derek Jeter Rookie card.. Still now worth all that much so I guess I plan on keeping it... And maybe in about 80 years it will be worth 10 bucks...

You might actually get $100 for your card. The auction is up to $65 with 2 hours to go. Hard to believe someone would pay that much for a baseball card. Glad it's not me.

Well, I sold it for my reserve price of $65. I cant complain, I only had a few dollars invested into it. My guess, since David Ortiz is having a great year, that he's back on the muscle juice and it wont be long before he is exposed again. Anyway, happy to get rid of it!gtmtnbiker wrote:You might actually get $100 for your card. The auction is up to $65 with 2 hours to go.
