Someone actually already traded it in at a GameStop. They even traded it in with the soundtrack - which isn't required - so I got to take it just by asking for it.Gamerforlife wrote:I know this sounds stupid, but knowing how limited Deathsmiles is makes me not even want to open it. But yeah, I plan to do the same. I've already got the soundtrack, I'll just buy the game used somewhere else, and I plan to get a 360 S anyway (so no need for a faceplate). So, I can enjoy the game and still have a sealed copy.

I've actually considered that, but I've blown a lot of cash recently. Fifty on Deathsmiles and fifty on a boxed copy of Chrono Trigger for the SNES that I won in an ebay auctionAppleQueso wrote:buy a second copy and play it?Gamerforlife wrote:I know this sounds stupid, but knowing how limited Deathsmiles is makes me not even want to open it. Normally I don't care about keeping games sealed, but Deathsmiles is a special case. Cave's first localized shooter, a fancy collector's edition package and only 15,000 copies, this strikes me as a true collector's item

I would go with Deathsmiles one of my favorite collector editions at an amazing price as well. A very fun shump!! I hope Cave brings more games over to US.

I would go with Deathsmiles but then I have zero interest in any of those other games. That said, Deathsmiles is really enjoyable and if you like the genre I am sure you will love it.

My first suggestion is Deathsmiles. If you have money after that, get the Persona 1 remake for the PSP and/or Eternal Sonata.
My rationale is that PSP games don't hold value that well, so if you held out, you could probably get Lunar and Persona 3 for a lower price later.
Persona 1 for the PSP, on the other hand, has been out for a while already, and it's probably not going to get much cheaper than its current price.
