Sony FINALLY fixed that with current gen platinum games, although the case is still silver and has bright yellow borders on the artwork.

I can't decide which is worse though

EDIT

Artwork wise probably the PAL one, but what that pic doesn't show is that the case is a gray-silver color, which is better than the NTSC red one...
I think the red ones look pretty good. That yellow will make your eyes bleed.

Hmm... maybe you're right. Maybe I'm mistaken.

In Europe, we only got the directors cut. No other version.

Well, at least you ultimately got the best version. Besides, AppleQueso was specifically referring to the US version(s).

Both of the USA versions are the director's cut as well. The packaging was just changed once it sold however many copies in the states

It doesn't matter to me really. I prefer black label or whatever, but if the price is good and i want it i don't care. I do want a red blu ray case though for my Netflix Instant disc.

i actually like the red case for the ps3 greatest hits. the bar that says "greatest hits" is pretty small in comparison to how it was on ps2 and ps1 games. so seeing the red case just makes me think of how some ps2 games were black case, and some were blue. it doesnt matter to me at all.

You know that's actually the first time I've ever seen a GH Star Ocean 3 case. Wonder if its uncommon or anything...

I remember being surprised the first time I saw a GH Silent Hill 1 case too.
