What's the easiet way to play imports anyway. I read the Racket boy guide, but the links to the boot disks are not working anymore. Someone needs an update....hmmm...
Well even if you are being a model Dreamcast owner and obtain an original copy of an import, you can always obtain a self-booting backup to play and then keep the original on your shelf in good condition.

yo dont need a modded dreamcast, just download the game, burn and play silly! of course you must own the original before you make a backup, so dont forget.

I was talking about using originals, but if I have the original how do make a back up? That process looked a little confusing to me. or Where can I download back-ups of the originals that I have in my library?

Maybe I'm just not computer savy enough....sorry that's might fault for clining onto anolog technology for long after the digital age was upon us. I think i'm the type of person who needs to see it happen, then I have no problem doing it myself. Any help is always appreciated!

Oh....ok
I read some more forums and I have disk jugler, so I think I get the process. I found some more info on making back-ups....and that's not happening for me. Also, I see that Underground Gamer is the best place to go for ISO's, and you need and invite. Also, downloading ISO's is pretty much frowned upon my the gov't and such. I get it. I am pretty much answering my own question huh. just talk it out....

if you have the originals, copy them with alcohol 120%, nero or disc juggler and make sure you do it with a bin/cue format or iso. MDF wont work (the alcohol style image) find the image and patch them with a saturn region patcher before you insert the blank disc that is to be the copy.

the saturn region patcher only patches bin/cue and iso formats.

if you cant change the image format with alcohol i guess you can copy it with nero instead.

do a simple google search for the region patcher.

Can I use Disc Juggler to copy and burn them? I thought this would not work because dreamcast games are not CD-ROM format? Saturn games are easier.
I'm just new to this, I buy my games, I like cover art and such and have never backed up anything as of yet.
