What do you consider a collection achievement?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Owning a single game that is worth as much as a console. For me, that game is MGS3:S-Limited.

My current mission is to own every 2D Fighting Game for as many systems as I can. I'm very close with many of my systems, but it would be awesome to have everything I can.

Obviously, owning every game that ever came out for any console of a particular region is an accomplishment, even if it is a system like the 32X or Virtual Boy. It's obviously a much grander accomplishment if it happened with the NES or PS1 - and I'd almost considering it insane to attempt with the SNES or PS2.

Stop crushing my dreams :(
After I complete the American NES library I'm aiming for the SNES.
That'll be in like 70 years because I'm still crying over the price of Action 52.

One of my goals I achieved was getting an entire US Castlevania CIB collection* for every system. My next goal is a complete (game, case and manual only) US Turbo Grafx collection, only 29 more to go although Magical Chase probably won't ever happen. Last week one sold for $787.00! That is probably more than I have invested in my entire Turbo collection so far.

* Castlevania II Belmont's Revenge for Gameboy I am missing parts of the box, I only have the front and back. It must have been stuffed in a rental box or something.

I would like to reach 1000 games (currently at 901 games). And I would like the 1000th game to be PANZER DRAGOON SAGA, wich I used to own a mint copy NTSC. Also want a minty NEO GEO ASE by X-Mas.

I would like to get a Neo-Geo MVS arcade cabinet for my gaming room but for games maybe a complete collection on a console such as Dreamcast or Virtual Boy. :)

I would like to continue expanding my SNES and especially NES and N64 collections to include every game I'm interested in and want...Plus develop nice collections of games for the Sega Genesis as well as for the more obscure consoles too.

The only time I feel like I've achieved something when adding to my collection (just over 700) is when I find a game that I've been wanting for years. It's not the best accessory, but I got a gorgeous NES powerpad the other day. I've always wanted one, now I have it, and it works. Achievement!
